​I first discovered my passion for teaching while serving as a General Chemistry teaching assistant at Boston University as an undergraduate student. However, my path to medicine wasn’t always smooth. I struggled to find effective study strategies as a freshman pre-med student. After finishing my sophomore year with a GPA below 2.95, I questioned whether medicine was even possible for me.

 

Instead of walking away, I committed to a fresh approach. I rebuilt my confidence, developed new study methods, and turned things around. I earned Dean’s List honors, completed a Master’s in Medical Sciences, and was ultimately accepted to multiple top MD and MD-MPH programs. ​In 2023, I completed my MD MPH from University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

 

Today, I am currently a third-year pediatrics resident at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL. I am passionate about mentoring junior learners from high school through residency. I plan to pursue a second residency in emergency medicine to become double-boarded. My clinical work is deeply rooted in equity, public health, and leadership, and I carry that same mindset into my work at ChemCoach. 

 

Through ChemCoach, I’ve helped hundreds of students—from all backgrounds and academic levels—achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. Whether I’m managing our team of tutors, consulting on medical school applications, or helping students prepare for interviews, I focus on building confidence and clarity. I show up with compassion, structure, and a toolkit of strategies I’ve learned and tested over the years.​

 

I believe anything is possible with the right mindset, tools, and support. I’ve lived that transformation myself, and I’m here to help you do the same.
